A concert of songs and chamber music by the Viennese composer Franz Schubert, recreating a “Schubertiad,” an intimate concert that Franz Schubert and his contemporaries would have presented in Vienna in the early 19th century. The evening will feature string players, singers and pianists from greater Worcester and across the country in works including Schubert’s Lieder, Shepherd on the Rock D. 965, four-hand piano music and the beloved Trout Quintet (Piano quintet in A, D. 667).
